Practice Areas

Molly handles all types of criminal, regulatory, and administrative matters. In recent years, a significant portion of her practice has included defending a variety of entities and professionals in the health care field, including coming up with creative, efficient solutions to what are oftentimes intersecting issues. Molly represents and advises clients in connection with a variety of interactions with the government from representing them in a charged case, to responding to subpoenas, to making reports, to preparing for interviews. Molly litigates in various areas including the False Claims Act, healthcare regulations, Title IX, FARA, and the Consumer Fraud Act.

Career

Molly started out as a public defender in New Hampshire. When she moved to Arizona, she became a Criminal Justice Act panelist and represented federal defendants at the trial, appeal, and habeas level. She spent several years as a senior staff attorney at the ACLU of Arizona where she worked on constitutional issues related to free speech, police reform, prison conditions, and equality under the law. Molly has been at Mitchell Stein Carey Chapman, LLC, since 2020.
