Practice Areas
Mohamed has more than 20 years’ experience advising on Arab Middle Eastern law. He regularly acts as UAE, Qatari, and Egyptian law expert as well as foreign law counsel or expert before Courts of England & Wales, Ireland and Australia.
He assists clients in a range of complex and transnational disputes in various sectors including real estate, construction, oil & gas, and TMT. Mohamed also represents clients in court litigations in numerous regional jurisdictions primarily in the UAE (including DIFC and ADGM), and Egypt.
In arbitration, he has handled cases under most of the major arbitration rules, including ICC, LCIA, DIAC, CRCICA, SIAC and UNCITRAL. He has sat as sole arbitrator, co-arbitrator or chairman on more than 40 cases in the UAE, and Egypt.
Before founding OGH Legal, Mohamed was Director (and Registrar) of the DIFC-LCIA Arbitration Centre and acting leader of Hogan Lovells’ Disputes UAE practice.
Career

•Acting for a North African sovereign wealth fund in a USD 1 billion cross-border litigation.
•Acting as Arab law expert on an investment treaty arbitration against an Arab state.”
