Matt’s practice focuses on complex commercial disputes, regulatory enforcement and investigations.

Matt is the former head of the litigation and dispute resolution group and is a member of the firm’s Management Committee.

He has more than 20 years’ experience advising global corporations and financial institutions in relation to some of their most significant and sensitive international disputes, investigations and enforcement matters, working frequently with leading independent firms around the world to provide a comprehensive international strategy.

Matt has particular familiarity with litigation, arbitration and regulatory enforcement matters in the US having been seconded to a leading New York law firm and worked extensively on transatlantic cases.

He is ranked as a leading practitioner by Legal 500 in the Commercial Litigation: Premium and Banking Litigation categories and by Legal 500 and Chambers in Contentious Financial Services.

Matt is also actively involved in managing the firm’s international relationships, is a member of the International Bar Association’s Litigation Committee and a Solicitor-Advocate.
