Masha is a recognised expert in intelligence and asset recovery. She has extensive experience in research, intelligence gathering, and identifying assets of individual, corporate and sovereign debtors across emerging markets and offshore jurisdictions.
She frequently advises litigation funds on enforceability of their potential claims and on pressure strategies to leverage adversaries in settlement negotiations. Prior to co-founding Vantage in 2012, Masha was a senior advisor to a well-known business intelligence firm in charge of international development. Prior to that, she was a media executive in charge of Focus Economic Reports published in The Times and The Washington Post aimed at attracting foreign investments into emerging markets.
Masha is a frequent speaker at conferences dedicated to asset recovery and dispute resolution and taught a graduate class on business intelligence at the Higher School of Economics in Moscow. She received her joint MBA degree from Columbia Business School and London Business School and her Bachelor of Science from New York University. Masha is fluent in Russian and French.
