Career

Masha, Co-Founder of Vantage, is a recognised expert in the area of intelligence and asset recovery.

Masha has extensive experience in research, intelligence gathering, and identifying assets of individual, corporate and sovereign debtors across emerging markets and often in offshore jurisdictions. She frequently advises litigation funds on enforceability of their potential claims and on pressure strategies to leverage adversaries in settlement negotiations.

She started her career as a media executive in charge of Focus Economic Reports published in The Times and The Washington Post aimed at attracting foreign investments into emerging markets. In her role, she travelled around the world interviewing heads of state, government officials and businessmen and developed an incredible network of global sources.

In 2008 Masha joined a well-known business intelligence firm as a senior advisor in charge of international development.

In 2012, Masha co-founded Vantage with the stated aim to focus on disputes, contentious matters, asset protection and asset recovery.

Since 2012, Vantage has grown from its headquarters in London to New York, Miami and Dubai; Masha is currently leading Vantage’s expansion in South America and the Caribbean and in that capacity is based in Miami.

Masha is a frequent speaker at conferences dedicated to asset recovery and dispute resolution and taught a graduate class on business intelligence at the Higher School of Economics in Moscow. She received her joint MBA degree from Columbia Business School and London Business School and her Bachelor of Science from New York University. Native of Kazakhstan, Masha is fluent in Russian and French.
