Career
Mark has extensive experience in litigating class action and single plaintiff suits brought under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Florida Civil Rights Act of 1992, the Fair Labor Standards Act (FSLA), the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), and the Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA). He also handles whistleblower and retaliation claims. In addition, he has also mediated over 2,000 employment disputes.
Mark also spends significant time advising management clients on identifying potential legal issues and resolving day-to-day employment related matters.
Mark is a frequent lecturer on a local, state, and national level on all areas of labor and employment law. He has authored and coauthored numerous articles on labor and employment law. He is a former adjunct professor at Stetson University College of Law, where he taught the Advanced Employment Discrimination Seminar.
