Since 2004, Mariana has been working with arbitration as an attorney, arbitrator and secretary to arbitral tribunals in domestic and international arbitration proceedings.
She is a member of the Brazilian Arbitration Committee (Cbar), of which she is Regional Coordinator (São Paulo), and member of the ICC National Commission on Arbitration as leader of the Technical Evidence Track on Experts appointed by the Arbitral Tribunal. She is also a member of the lists of arbitrators of the most well-known arbitral institutions: CAM-CCBC, CIESP/FIESP, CAMARB, CBMA, ARBITAC and Chamber of Mediation, Conciliation and Arbitration of OAB/SP.
She is co-author with Professor Luiz Olavo Baptista of Arbitration in Brazil, published in The International Arbitration Review: Brazil, London: Law Business Research, 2010 to 2017 (1st to 8th editions).
