Personal
Marcos Moreno Hueyo earned his Law degree from the Universidad de Buenos Aires in 2004 and an LLM in Comparative Law from Northwestern University School of Law (Chicago, USA) in 2008, where he was awarded a partial merit scholarship. In 2015, he furthered his expertise by obtaining a postgraduate degree in Mining Law from Universidad Finis Terrae in Santiago, Chile, graduating with the highest distinction in his class.
Before founding MH Moreno Hueyo Abogados, Marcos built a distinguished career at some of the most prestigious law firms in Argentina. He also gained international experience as a Senior Foreign Attorney at Bofill, Mir & Alvarez Jana in Chile, where he served as Chief Counsel for Orosur Mining Inc., a TSX and AIM-listed company.
Marcos has extensive experience in both senior and junior mining transactions and operations in Argentina, and has also provided advice on mining transactions in Chile and Uruguay. His work includes advising on corporate affairs, negotiating complex agreements, and overseeing corporate governance matters for TSX-listed companies within the extractive industries.
He is fluent in both Spanish and English.
