Łukasz Wieczorek

Łukasz specializes in the law of new technologies (IT), intellectual property law, unfair competition law, business law, and immigration law. In his everyday practice, he works in an international environment. In particular, he advises foreign clients that invest in Poland and entities operating a business outside of Poland.

At the Law Firm, he coordinates the International Desk with respect to the above legal areas.

Experience in selected specializations

Łukasz has extensive experience in matters related to the IT sector. He took part in tens of projects, drafting and negotiating IT agreements (including with respect to agile methodologies and the SaaS model) with business partners from the USA, Europe, and Asia that operate in the banking, finance, insurance, gambling, hotel, and music sectors.

He was involved in the works on a contract between a Law Firm’s client and Citibank that concerned the implementation of the client’s application in 16 countries in Europe and Asia-Pacific (for which the Law Firm received the Outstanding Legal Skill in Handling a Transaction award from the Rzeczpospolita daily in 2018). He also successfully negotiated an IT agreement between a Law Firm’s client and a Silicon Valley unicorn.
