Kirsten M. Castañeda

For over two decades, Kirsten M. Castañeda has worked with trial lawyers in federal and state courtrooms—before, during, and after trial—in addition to briefing and arguing state and federal appeals and original proceedings. Her clients range from Fortune 500 companies to entrepreneurs, and from Texas to jurisdictions nationwide. Learning a client’s business and litigation goals allows her to craft arguments and strategy that serve both the immediate case and the client’s long-term needs. Her work has helped shape the law in key areas, including premises and products liability, insurance defense, healthcare liability claims, oil and gas, class actions, the Texas Constitution, and federal preemption.
