Kimberly West is the Assistant Mediator at Fairbank ADR. As part of Fairbank ADR’s “mediation team” approach, led by Bob Fairbank, Kimberly undertakes extensive analysis of the merits and dynamics of each dispute, prepares in-depth and insightful written questions for each side in advance of mediation to assess their risks, and actively participates in all mediation sessions and pre-mediation communications. Bob and Kim are frequently commended as a team by mediation participants for their “persistence and excellent work,” “tenacity, intellect, and commitment” in resolving difficult matters.

Kimberly began working with Bob Fairbank in 2012 at his predecessor litigation firm, Fairbank & Vincent. In her litigation practice, Kimberly worked on cases involving the defense of officers and directors in federal securities actions and government investigations. Previously, Kimberly was an Associate at O'Melveny & Myers LLP from 2004 to 2009, where she focused on complex civil antitrust litigation. Kimberly received her J.D. from New York University School of Law, where she was Dean's Scholar and Article & Note Editor of the Journal of Legislation and Public Policy. Kimberly earned her B.A. from University of California, Berkeley as a member of Phi Beta Kappa, Dean's List, and with Highest Honors in Legal Studies.
