Ken Reisenfeld is a Partner at BakerHostetler and a leader of its International Arbitration practice. Mr. Reisenfeld has over 40 years’ experience as counsel or sitting as a sole arbitrator, chair, co-arbitrator or emergency arbitrator in more than 100 international commercial or investment treaty cases administered by the leading arbitration centers around the world, including ICSID, ICC, LCIA, AAA/ICDR, HKIAC and WIPO, among others.

Mr. Reisenfeld has particular experience in cross-border disputes involving public international law, treaties, Sovereigns, State-controlled entities, project finance, power/energy, infrastructure/construction, mining, technology, telecommunications, pharmaceutical, licensing, distribution agreements, franchise and merger and acquisition claims.

Prior to joining BakerHostetler, Mr. Reisenfeld served as arbitration practice head at legacy Patton Boggs (now Squire Patton Boggs) and practiced at White & Case and King & Spalding. He is a graduate of Harvard Law School (JD) and Oberlin College (BA, with Honors and Phi Beta Kappa).

Mr. Reisenfeld is a past Chair of the ABA Section of International Law and its International Arbitration Committee. He is a member of the Board Directors of the ABA Rule of Law Initiative, the Secretary of State’s Advisory Committee on International Law, IBA Arbitration Committee, CPR Institute for Conflict Resolution and Advisory Board of ITA.
