Júlia works with tax law focusing on tax planning, M&A, succession planning, financial products, structuring of foreign investment and domestic investments overseas, transfer price, and financings.

She has participated in tax-related transactions reviewing corporate tax litigation issues and possible tax contingencies in due diligence, in addition to preparing letters of advice and legal opinions on the tax burden imposed by federal, state, and local governments. Has therefore accrued a great deal of experience in tax litigation and tax consulting, advising clients in several specialized sectors, such as mining companies, car rental companies, and food companies.

- Assistance to Avenue Code (a leading software consultancy group) and its founders in the tax structuring regarding a cross-border transaction involving the sale of shares to Compass. Uol Holding Corp.;

- Assistance to Zetra (a fintech focused on financial services as an advance on wages and loans) with tax planning related to the expansion of its business in Brazil;

- Assistance to BIOMM (a Brazilian biomedicine listed company) in (i) structuring an export transaction with a Swiss client; (ii) tax advice regarding the import of services provided by a US supplier; (iii) international tax advisory regarding a supply chain operation with four countries; and (iv) tax advisory to comply with tax legislation and avoid a tax assessment.
