Ms. Yan practiced law with an international law firm for several years before joining Han Kun Law Offices in 2021. Before entering private

practice, Ms. Yan served for many years as a prosecutor for a people's procuratorate in Shanghai. Ms. Yan focuses her practice on representing clients in white-collar matters, government and internal investigations, as well as advising on anti-corruption, anti-unfair competition, trade secret protection, data security, dispute resolution, and regulatory compliance. She has extensive experience handling legal matters as well as crisis management relating to a wide variety of commercial activities.

Ms. Yan has represented and provided legal services to numerous multinational companies in relation to their compliance issues in China. The matters which Ms. Yan handles primarily include advising on government investigations, conducting internal compliance investigations, taking legal action against executives and employees for misconduct, research and analysis of regulatory and policy changes, legal assistance to clients on compliance planning, and advising on enterprise operations. Ms. Yan represents clients across diverse industries, including technology, healthcare, automotive, aviation, industrial product manufacturing, retail, food, and education.
