Joachim Grote is a Managing Partner at BLD and heads the firm’s life, health and disability as well as the insurance regulatory department. He is well known in the market for his breadth of practice, advising especially in complex regulatory questions. On top, Joachim has gained a very strong reputation in the area of product development insurance distribution issues. The subject of his daily work is varied. For example, in a recent case, Joachim lent his service to insurance companies and InsurTechs on the implementation of new products, sales concepts and compliance system, advised the Federal Ministry of Justice on supervisory law regarding the establishment of the German Travel Insurance Fund.
