Jill is a partner in Obermayer’s Family Law Department, where she focuses her practice exclusively on domestic relations matters, including divorce, separation, custody, child and spousal support, pre- and postnuptial agreements, marital property division, adoptions, guardianships, and assisted reproduction cases, such as gestational carrier agreements. With over 25 years of experience, Jill brings a strategic and solutions-driven approach to her work, striving to resolve disputes effectively through both negotiation and advocacy. Known for her empathy and practical guidance, Jill is dedicated to helping clients and their families achieve the best possible outcomes.

In addition to her litigation practice, Jill is a certified Family Court Mediator who assists families in reaching mutually beneficial resolutions. She also handles transactional work, including drafting and reviewing agreements and contracts related to domestic relations matters and artificial reproduction matters.

Jill serves on several non-profit Boards. She is the Board President of Cecil County CASA (“Court Appointed Special Advocates); she is the Board Chair for DAPI (the Delaware Adolescent Program, Inc.), a program for pregnant and parenting teens ; she is on the Board of Directors of Warriors Helping Warriors, helping connect veterans with vital resources.

Jill has over two decades of experience representing clients in the Delaware courts of New Castle, Kent, and Sussex Counties. She handles all areas of family law, including divorce, property division, support, custody, guardianships, adoptions, and premarital or gestational carrier agreements. Jill is skilled in both negotiation and litigation, always working to achieve the best outcomes for her clients.
