Jason's expertise extends to complex corporate criminal matters such as Intra-Community Carousel fraud, SFO Prosecution and defending commercial business crime cases, Financial Service Regulation and corruption cases.

Jason specialises in white-collar commercial fraud cases with over 28 years’ experience of dealing with government departments. Currently on the SFO KC list (2020) (A List since 2013-17) BIS (formerly DTI), HMRC and Department of Work and Pensions. Also instructed as a grade 4 specialist CPS prosecutor with specialisms in fraud, murder, and serious sexual offences including rape.

High profile cases include Vincent Tchenguiz in the aborted SFO investigation and a separate commercial fraud matter. He also acted for Sir Frederick Barclay and his daughter Amanda with Brown Rudnick and 3 VB in the covert bugging case concerning the Ritz Hotel in 2020, successfully settled in 2020. Has also been instructed by corporates in complex fraud, breach of privacy and Data Protection cases.

He was instructed by Dentons Milan and London as a banking regulatory expert in the bribery and corruption case against ENI/Shell that was prosecuted in Milan, Italy. He was instructed to defend a former M.D. of the UK’s largest pharmaceutical brokerages concerning complex data protection, instructed by Blackfords LLP.

Jason is currently engaged in a major case concerning unexplained wealth orders for a well known HNW family with recent press and media coverage.
