Jacqueline Calderin

Jacqueline “Jacqui” Calderín is a founding member and current Managing Partner of Agentis. She is a restructuring and insolvency attorney who advises businesses and stakeholders facing financial and operational challenges. With decades of experience representing companies, lenders, fiduciaries, and other parties in complex financial matters, she is known for helping troubled businesses stabilize, restructure, and move forward.

Jacqui regularly serves in fiduciary roles in distressed and bankruptcy matters. She was appointed by the U.S. Department of Justice’s United States Trustee Program to serve as a panel trustee in the Southern District of Florida, where she has continued since 2011 to supervise and administer bankruptcy cases.

In addition to her restructuring work, Jacqui regularly advises business owners and executives on strategic decisions affecting financially distressed or operationally challenged companies. Her work spans a range of industries, including construction, healthcare, hospitality, aviation, housing, telecommunications, retail, and entertainment.

Calderin is a founding member and the current managing partner of Agentis PLLC. In 2011, she was appointed by the Department of Justice’s U.S. Trustee Program as a panel trustee. Prior to forming Agentis, she was a partner at Ehrenstein Charbonneau Calderin as well as a partner at Kluger Peretz Kaplan & Berlin.

Calderin is active in the community and volunteers her time for a number of charitable causes. She serves as the Chair of the New World School of the Arts Foundation Board and Board of Directors Secretary for the Thomas Armour Dance Theatre.

She earned her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Miami School of Law and graduated magna cum laude from Florida International University with a B.A. in English Literature.
