Practice Areas
Helen maintains a broad commercial litigation practice focused on securities litigation, professional negligence, and contract disputes. She has successfully argued cases at all levels of court, including the Supreme Court of Canada, and regularly advises individuals and corporations on matters involving their regulatory bodies.
Career
Helen spent many years at McCarthy Tétrault LLP and Blake, Cassels & Graydon LLP before moving in-house to practice securities litigation for a national bank. She joined Ross Nasseri LLP in 2022. She is widely published on topics relating to commercial and securities litigation and taught Contract Remedies at Osgoode Hall Law School from 2018 to 2020.
Professional Memberships
Helen is on the Executive Committee of the Ontario Bar Association’s Civil Litigation Section as well as the Ontario Bar Association’s Women Lawyers Section. She is also a member of the Canadian Chapter of the International Association of Women Judges Committee on Discrimination and is an active participant in law student mentoring programs at the University of Toronto and the University of Ottawa.
