Heike is a transaction tax specialist. Her practise focuses on advising on the tax aspects of structuring and executing mergers and acquisitions (with a special focus on the finance and insurance sectors), private equity investments, real estate transactions, restructurings and reorganisations. Heike also has significant experience advising on tax aspects of securitisations, financial instruments, derivatives as well as asset finance, real estate finance and leveraged finance transactions. Moreover, she regularly advises multinational corporations on their tax affairs and structuring issues.

Heike has practised in transaction tax law for over 20 years and is a leading practitioner in this field. She is a regular speaker and author on national and international tax topics affecting her clients.
