Career
Gerald was a Partner and Head of Tax at bpv Hügel until 2024, before founding SCHACHNER Rechtsanwalt GmbH. He has been admitted as an attorney in Austria since 2007 and as a Certified Public Tax Advisor in Austria since 2004. Prior to his time at bpv Hügel, Gerald worked with Arthur Andersen, Deloitte & Touche, Herbst Vavrovsky Kinsky, and Norton Rose LLP in London.

Gerald is a member of Tax & Legal Excellence, serving as Head of the Lounge Vienna, as well as a member of the International Fiscal Association (IFA), the International Bar Association (IBA), the Vienna Bar Association, and the Austrian Chamber of Certified Public Accountants.
