Gaurav is a qualified lawyer and company secretary. After completing his LL.M. from King’s College, London, Gaurav joined the firm in 2006. He has been involved in advising a number of international and Indian clients in mergers as well as a range of antitrust and compliance issues, including two leading sovereign wealth funds, BP, Tencent, Cintra, General Dynamics, Wellington, CPPIB, DP World, 3M, Smiths Group, Continental, Investcorp, Indian Steel Association, CDPQ, Siemens, Anheuser-Busch InBev and Porsche.

He has been involved in the filing of the country’s first two “long form” notifications and one of the first “green channel” notifications with the CCI. Gaurav is regarded as a trusted adviser by several clients who greatly value his mature advice and deep knowledge of the competition law and CCI processes as well as his proven ability to explain complex client issues to CCI officials.

Gaurav has been recognised as a “Future Leader” in the competition / antitrust field for India by Who’s Who Legal 2019.
