Career
Founding partner of Allende Bascuñán & Cía. (1990), Francisco Javier Allende is an expert in both local and international taxation matters, developing his expertise in large corporate business reorganizations, mergers and acquisitions, corporate tax advisory, both administrative and judicial tax disputes and mainly, high-net-worth individuals’ tax planning.
He is and has been director of publicly-held-and closed corporations, as well as advisor to holdings and family offices.
With 30 years of experience, Francisco Javier has earned the trust of several of the wealthiest families of Chile, advising them on both domestic and international investments, inbound and offshore.
He is Advisor to the Board of Fundación Las Rosas, a local charity, since 1984; member of the Arbitration and Mediation Panel of the Santiago Chamber of Commerce (CAM Santiago); of the National Arbitration Board, and of the International Fiscal Association (I.F.A).
He has taught at Universidad de los Andes, both at graduate and postgraduate levels.
