Fernando Gentil Monteiro is a partner at GVBG Advogados and his practice is focused on corporate and commercial matters, with emphasis on mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, venture capital, and commercial agreements.

In Brazil, Fernando also worked for more than 9 years at Machado Meyer, Sendacz e Opice Advogados.

He is a professor of corporate and business law at Insper and IBMEC in São Paulo and serves as a member of the Legal Commission of the Brazilian Institute of Corporate Governance (IBGC).
