Ernesto is recognized for being an expert in the areas of civil, commercial, procedural law and in the areas of litigation, arbitration and negotiation. He has been a legal advisor for more than 40 years for numerous companies in the ports, chemicals, infrastructure, sports and entertainment sectors, among others. He has also acted in more than 60 national and international commercial arbitrations, both in the role of attorney and arbitrator.
Lawyer from Universidad del Rosario (1975). Specialist in procedural and public law from the same university (1978) and in tax law from the Universidad de los Andes (1991). Studies in Negotiation from Harvard University (2002).
Ernesto is a member of the Colombian Academy of Jurisprudence and the Colombian Institute of Procedural Law. He is the only Colombian referee on the general and football list of the Court of Arbitration for Sport (TAS-CAS) and belongs to the A list of arbitrators of the Bogotá Chamber of Commerce.
