Elizabeth Dylke

Elizabeth Dylke has a broad corporate practice with a focus on private equity and venture capital fund formation and advises regularly on domestic and cross-border transactions involving the growth and management of pooled capital.

Elizabeth acts for both local and international based fund sponsors in connection with private capital raising activities. She also represents various institutional investors and family office clients in connection with private fund investments and the negotiation of special rights.

She is familiar with the mechanics of both open and closed ended funds. She structures domestic and international private equity funds and hedge funds to address applicable regulatory considerations, including compliance with Canadian sanctions laws, securities regulation, and dealer, adviser and investment fund management registration requirements.

She has extensive experience organizing pooled investments in private equity, commercial real estate, venture capital and infrastructure, as well as the formation and management of mortgage investment entities. Elizabeth also advises on securities law compliance and corporate governance matters.
