His recent portfolio includes industrial operations for $1,274,000,000.00 USD, housing and mixed-use for $462,000,000.00 USD, and tourism-hospitality for $1,855,000,000.00 USD, covering flagship projects such as “St. Regis, Costa Mujeres”, “Waldorf Astoria, Los Cabos”, “Sha Wellness, Cancun”, “The Sky, Merida”, “Anima Village, Los Cabos”, “Four Seasons, Costa Palmas”, “Hyatt Regency”, and industrial developments in different geographical locations throughout the Mexican Republic.
Eduardo graduated as an attorney from the Universidad Panamericana of Mexico City, received a postgraduate degree in Economic and Corporate Law, and also received a postgraduate degree in Civil Law from the same university.
He worked in the Chicago Office of international law firm Mayer Brown, where he was involved in major financing transactions and strengthened his international practice. Afterwards, having returned to Mexico, he became a founding Partner of Mexican law firm Nader, Hayaux & Goebel, where he was the head of the Real Estate and Banking & Finance Departments.
In December of 2023, Eduardo and the Real Estate and Banking & Finance Departments' lawyers decided to start Villanueva Ortiz Abogados, where they continue to serve their clients with experience and technical knowledge that far distinguish them from other firms.
