Career

Mr. Jin is the founding and managing partner of Jin Partners, a PRC law firm headquartered in Shanghai, PRC, launched at the end of February 2024.

Since the mid-1990s, Mr. Jin has focused his practice on complex commercial and financial litigation, international and domestic commercial arbitration, large-scale tort litigation, insurance litigation, patent litigation, IP-related antitrust litigation, unfair competition disputes, administrative and criminal litigation, and environmental liability cases. Before founding Jin Partners, he was a partner of Han Kun Law Offices, co-managing partner of Haiwen & Partners Shanghai Office and managing partner and head of the dispute resolution group of King & Wood Mallesons Shanghai Office. Mr. Jin is highly recommended in various legal rankings. He is also an active arbitrator with CIETAC, SHIAC and HKIAC (IP and general panels), SIAC, WIPO, SHAC, HZAC, ACAS and CMAC, and the Deputy Chair of European Chinese Arbitrators Association.

Mr. Jin, as counsel and arbitrator, is experienced in dealing with disputes involving industrial products supply, sales of goods, leases, share transfers and M&A, business cooperations, internet, finance, PE investment, pharmaceutical, advertisement, entertainment, IP and antitrust. Since 2010, he has also been researching and advising clients on investor-State arbitration.
