Deirdre Domingo is a director of Innovo Law, specialising in public inquiries, independent investigations and reviews, and inquests.

Deirdre represents core participants in the UK Covid-19 Inquiry and the Scottish Covid-19 Inquiry, and she represented an individual core participant and a number of witnesses to the Brook House Public Inquiry (investigating the treatment of detained persons held in immigration detention). She also provides legal support to a large UK-wide corporate organisation in separate inquiry proceedings.

Deirdre has acted as legal adviser to the Independent Investigation into East Kent Maternity Services and to the Independent Thematic Review into Nottingham University Hospitals Maternity Services, and she has provided legal and operational support to an Independent Special Commission investigating safeguarding and governance failings within an international NGO. Deirdre conducts independent investigations on behalf of a UK-wide trade union, and she is an Independent Adjudicator to Companies House.

Before setting up Innovo Law in 2021, Deirdre was a government lawyer. She represented the Ministry of Defence in connection with two complex and sensitive inquests into the deaths of armed forces personnel at Deepcut Barracks in 1995. She also acted as Deputy Solicitor to the Infected Blood Inquiry from 2018 to 2021.

Deirdre is qualified as a solicitor in England and Wales, and as an attorney at the New York Bar.
