Danielle is the Managing Partner and head of the firm's Technology Law and Project Finance departments. She has over 16 years of professional experience in mergers and acquisitions in the OHADA jurisdictions. She has actively participated in complex project finance transactions, Cameroon State budget financing, and projects shaping the future of trade in Africa, namely the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) Agreement.
Trained in Fintech Law at the Wharton Business School, US, Danielle has pioneered and headed several technology and fintech projects in Cameroon and Central Africa. She advises on the digitalization of financial services with a focus on legal advice and regulatory compliance of payment services and marketplace lending, artificial intelligence applied to financial services, data protection, virtual assets, blockchain, and other distributed ledger technologies in financial businesses. Danielle’s clients include the World Bank Group, the World Trade Organization, The Goethe Institute, GIZ, Coris Bank Group, Colgate-Palmolive, Multichoice Africa Holdings, Maersk, Cimpor Cameroon S.A, Razel Cameroun, Cimencam S.A, Augentic Passcam S.A, Kalpataru Power Transmission Ltd, Orange, Cargill Financial Services, Medcem, Uber, and Aza Finance.
