Clare practices across public law and planning.
She has particular expertise in infrastructure projects, especially wind energy and transport projects. She is currently acting for the Department for Transport on the HS2 scheme.
Clare also has particular experience in relation to plan-making, both at neighbourhood plan and local plan level, having acted at a number of plan examinations and in a number of high profile cases including DLA Delivery v Lewes District Council and POW v Waverley Borough Council. She regularly acts both for and against central government, local authorities and other public bodies, both in inquiries and in the higher courts.
