Chris is regarded as one of Australia’s leading tax lawyers. He is a Chartered Accountant and an accredited specialist in dispute resolution with more than 35 years’ experience advising public companies, SME clients and high-net-worth individuals on tax audits, tax risk management, evidence gathering (including expert evidence) and responses to the Australian Taxation Office. 

In the 2021-22 financial year, Chris worked on a number of important matters, including advising an Australian property group in relation to a significant tax matter associated with its retirement living business. 

Chris is the Chair of the Tax Institute’s Dispute Resolution Sub-committee and Chair of the Number One Tax Discussion Group.
