Cândido Rangel Dinamarco

Career

Professor and author of several legal works, Cândido Rangel Dinamarco is a lawyer with international recognition who advises the most complex disputes before Brazil's Supreme and Superior Courts. Full professor of Civil Procedural Law at the Law School of the University of São Paulo. Former Prosecutor of Justice of the State of São Paulo, having been part of the Code Review Commission of the Ministry of Justice in 1980. Former judge of the First Civil Appellate Court of São Paulo. Retired appellate judge of the Court of Justice of the State of São Paulo. In addition to his legal practice, Cândido Rangel Dinamarco also acts as a legal consultant and updates his legal works.

Personal

Graduated from the Law School of the University of São Paulo in 1960. Student of Professor Enrico Tullio Liebman at the University of Milan between 1968 and 1970. Member of the Ibero-American Institute of Procedural Law. Contributed to the drafting of projects and draft bills, including the Public Civil Action Law. Lecturer on topics of Civil Procedure, as well as author of articles published in the most prestigious specialized journals.
