Career

Arthur Alick Msowoya has over 28 years of practice. In the 28 years of practice, he has become an adept litigator, draftsman of commercial agreements and has impeccable experience in conveyancing, drafting and corporate consultancy work. He has acted on behalf of banks and other lending institutions. He has acted for clients during privatisation, mergers and acquisitions, takeover and restructuring. He has also acted as transaction legal advisor for companies during rights issues and listing of medium term bonds on the MSE. He has acted as transaction legal advisor in the establishment of financial institutions including banks. He, therefore, has in-depth understanding of financial services laws.

Arthur Alick Msowoya was admitted to the Malawi Bar in 1997. He served as an associate at the Firm until 2003 when he was appointed as Partner. He has served as Chairman of the Malawi Law Society and has held many other roles spearheading the development of the legal profession in Malawi.
