Antônio Pedro Garcia de Souza

Antonio Pedro Garcia de Souza is a partner at FCDG and specializes in complex, high-stakes disputes. He represents clients in major domestic and cross-border litigation and arbitration involving corporate, commercial, regulatory, and administrative matters, as well as special situations, distressed assets, and asset recovery.

His practice focuses particularly on disputes arising from corporate transactions, shareholder and governance conflicts, financing and investment structures, contractual relationships, regulatory matters, and business crises. He advises and represents financial institutions, investment funds, and companies operating in sectors including education, healthcare, oil and gas, energy, construction, and retail.

Antonio Pedro was a visiting scholar at Columbia Law School in New York. He holds a PhD and a master’s degree in corporate and commercial law from the University of São Paulo—USP, completed executive education courses in negotiation and mediation at Harvard Law School, and earned his law degree from FGV Direito Rio.
