Career
Andrej is a managing partner at Fatur Menard. During his lengthy career Andrej has advised numerous leading domestic and foreign corporations on various complex legal issues. Combining his extensive knowledge and years of international and local experience, he is an established expert in competition law, M&A, corporate and commercial law, restructuring, financing, investment funds and regulatory issues. Andrej has extensive experience with representing clients before the European Commission, the Slovene Competition Protection Agency, national courts, and the Court of Justice of the European Union.
Andrej started his career in a local law firm until he left Slovenia to pursue graduate and post-graduate studies in competition law. In-between his studies he served as a stagier at the Court of Justice of the European Union. Following the completion of his LL.M. and PhD degrees Andrej returned to Slovenia and started his own law firm which merged with Law Firm Menard in 2018.
