Practice Areas
Andrea’s practice includes energy litigation and policing law, with a focus on and over twenty years of experience in professional negligence and administrative law. In her professional negligence practice, Andrea represents physicians in civil litigation matters at all levels of the Courts in Alberta. She also represents physicians with complaint and conduct matters before the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta, hospital administrative bodies and tribunals.

Personal
Andrea is a speaker at various conferences on medical negligence, risk management and physician wellness issues. She is a frequent lecturer at the Cumming School of Medicine, University of Calgary, for its residency program and is also the current President of the Medical Legal Society of Calgary. Andrea clerked at the Court of Queen’s Bench and Court of Appeal of Alberta in Calgary before joining Bennett Jones LLP.
