Andrea is an associate in the Intellectual Property and Privacy & Data Protection Groups. Her practice focuses on federal regulatory law in the areas of intellectual property, marketing and advertising, and privacy, including Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL).

Andrea is experienced in the acquisition and protection of intellectual property rights and has advised companies of all sizes across a broad range of industries including fashion, restaurants, food and beverage, tobacco, cannabis, consumer goods, public agencies, financial services, manufacturing and pharmaceutical.

Andrea’s trademark practice includes all aspects of the trademark life cycle, including clearance, trademark prosecution, opposition and enforcement. She also has extensive experience in providing strategic technical and business advice on intellectual property issues with respect to IP acquisitions, licensing and commercialization.

Andrea frequently advises clients on marketing and advertising law (both federal and provincial, including issues arising under the Competition Act), as well as federal and provincial privacy law compliance.
