Studio Prosperetti is a boutique firm dedicated to specialized legal consulting in IT and Telecom matters., based in Rome - Italy.

The firm is headed by Eugenio Prosperetti - who has more than 20 years of experience in advising IT Law clients - and is ranked in Chambers for Europe TMT since 10 years (currently, band 2).

Eugenio is assisted by a team of 5 lawyers, all with broad experience in IT/telecom matters and litigation as well as academic experience.

Today's Studio Prosperetti was established on the basis of the experience and tradition of the firm of the same name founded in 1954 by Prof. Ubaldo Prosperetti, among the first and most eminent Italian labor lawyers of the postwar period, and carried on until 2015 by Prof. Giulio Prosperetti, until, in December 2015, he had the honor of being elected Constitutional Judge, thus leaving to Eugenio Prosperetti and his team to carry on the activity. Since 2001 the Firm's focus is mainly on IT Law.

Studio Prosperetti is now a boutique-sized IT Law firm, with a strongly focused team of experienced lawyers, capable of acting as a one-stop-shop for all the regulatory and legal tasks which come into question in managing IT services. All our lawyers have extensive academic and professional qualifications and are active in lecturing IT Law advanced courses in Rome's most prestigious Universities.

The Studio provides to Clients assistance in regulatory and judicial (civil and administrative) matters, support in drafting and managing IT contracts, support in dealing with sector authorities (AGCOM for telecoms and media, AGCM for competition and consumer protection, Garante Privacy for data protection, Agid for trust services and E-id), support in complex IT procurement issues, competition law advisory and auditing, data protection advisory and auditing, cybersecurity consulting and support in relevant criminal proceedings, consumer law compliance advisory.

From time to time, Studio Prosperetti has been involved by Government and/or Members of Parliament to draft technology-oriented legislation (electronic identity, digital services of the Public Administration, digital market competition rules, digital copyright sector regulations, telemarketing regulation, GDPR compliant Codes of Conduct, etc.)

The Studio aims to provide the client who wishes to enter the Italian market or already is present with a one-stop-shop service which includes advice (and, if necessary, litigation) in all relavant areas of IT and Telecoms Law.
