Allen & Overy has been present in Greater China for more than 35 years. We established our first office, in Hong Kong, in 1988 and, in 1993, were one of the first international law firms to register an office in Beijing. More recently, in 2019, we established our Joint Operation Office with Shanghai Lang Yue Law Firm - Allen & Overy Lang Yue - enabling us to provide clients with PRC law advice on a more efficient and effective basis than many other international firms, which need to work with separate local PRC firms. Through the joint operation, we now have one of the most experienced practices in the region, with the ability to advise on PRC, Hong Kong, Australian, English, French and U.S. law matters.

Operating from our offices in Beijing, Shanghai and Hong Kong, we advise clients on a broad range of national and international deals and disputes.
