Simon Christian Editor - HNW Chambers and Partners

Simon was a researcher and later a deputy editor on the Chambers UK team, before becoming editor of the Chambers High Net Worth guide. He has an LLB in Laws from University College London. He also studied for the BPTC at City Law School and was Called to the Bar at Middle Temple.

Alfredo Sànchez, Partner, Chevez Ruiz Zamarripa

Alfredo Sánchez joined Chevez Ruiz Zamarripa in 1991. He has over twenty-five years’ experience in Mexican and International taxation providing services to Mexican resident corporations and individuals as well as to non-residents doing business in Mexico. He has taught courses on taxation at the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM) and at the Universidad Iberoamericana (UIA). Alfredo has been a speaker in tax seminars in Mexico and abroad and has written several articles for various tax journals. He is a member of the Board of Directors and of the Audit and Compensation Committees of several companies. He is a pro bono adviser to several non-profit organizations assisting them in their fund-raising activities and processing registration thereof with the tax authorities as entities qualified to receive donations that are tax deductible for donors.

Pere Pons, Partner, Chevez Ruiz Zamarripa

Pere M. Pons joined Chevez Ruiz Zamarripa in 2018 as partner in charge of the Spanish and LATAM practices and as head the Madrid office of the firm. He worked in other prestigious firms in New York and Barcelona for 17 years. Pere specializes in international taxation, regularly advising on international investment structures in Spain and Latin America, as well as operations of hedge funds and private equity entities. He also advises on financing structures and Spanish investments abroad. Pere has extensive experience in real estate, distressed debt investments and tax consolidated groups. He regularly assists high net worth individuals and has advised on the regularization of off-shore investments and tax proceedings. Finally, he has advised government agencies on prevention of money laundering and foreign investment regulations. He received the TTN-Network Award (2004) and a BNA Bloomberg certificate of excellence for his publications. He is a frequent speaker at legal conferences.

Miguel Valle, Partner, Chevez Ruiz Zamarripa

Miguel Valle focuses his professional practice on the corporate area specializing in mergers, acquisitions and compliance. He is highly recognized for his broad experience in transactional work, advising clients in domestic and cross-border trade that involve mergers & acquisitions, strategic alliances, controversies among shareholders, corporate restructuring and trade matters in general. Miguel has been the lead consultant on a significant number of transactions for the last twenty years, providing legal and business advice to Mexican and International companies in a broad range of industries, which include the chemical, automotive, manufacturing, distribution, transportation, publicity and service industries. Additionally, he is a specialist in compliance matters providing personal advice for compliance with domestic and international regulations through implementation of policies and other self-regulating measures. He is currently the Secretary of the National Association of Business Attorneys and a member of its Board. He also contributes articles for several international publications, such as Doing Business (Mexico Chapter) and Corporate and M&A of Chambers and Partners and Corporate Governance Guide of Getting the Deal, among others.
