Understanding and Unlocking the Value of Litigation Finance for Insurance Claims for Both Policyholders and Insurers with Omni Bridgeway
About this webinar
Insurance-related cases and arbitrations, whether for insurance coverage, bad faith, reinsurance, or subrogation remain incredibly active with no end to these disputes in sight. As policyholders and insurers consider how to pursue these matters, both can look to commercial litigation funding for the capital required to maximize recoveries in large-scale cases. Similarly, law firms with portfolios of these types of claims also can greatly benefit from the use of litigation finance.
This interactive discussion will cover these issues and more from the perspectives of litigation funders and seasoned lawyers from both the policyholder and insurer sides.  Â
- Discussion of how non-recourse finance is secured only by the litigation proceeds or the lawyers’ fee interest in the case
- Funding policyholder claims (first-party and third-party) and assignment of bad faith claims to resolve third-party actions
- Funding insurer subrogation and reinsurance claims
