Linda (she/her) is a French lawyer, who joined the MENA Legal team at Google in 2018. After starting her career in France, Linda moved to the MENA region for over 13 years where she worked for several major actors in the IT industry (Microsoft, Oracle, VMware). She is a graduate fromUniversitéJean Moulin - Lyon 3 in France and has obtained a Master degree inlaw (LLM) in Law and the Internet from the University of East Anglia in Norwich, UK. She’s been a #IamRemarkable facilitator since 2020 and she is currently the Site Lead of the initiative in MENA.

Raka Roy, Head of IP & Data Protection - Galadari Advocates & Legal Consultants
Raka is the Head of IP and Data Protection at Galadari Advocates & Legal Consultants whospecialisesin Commercial and Intellectual Property matters. She brings a wealth of experience in high profile projects and transactions in IP Auditing, advisory roles for any IP or commercial IP issues. In a region where digital transformation is happening at a fast pace, Raka regularly advises clients on issues related to e-commerce, digital and tech laws. Raka was recently successful in representing a major retail group in an unfair trade practices and unfair competition issue regarding a social media post.
