Arthur Chen, Managing Partner - Ameba Capital
Arthur has rich experience in investments, operations, as well as legal and capital markets, having led and managed over $2 billion in transactions across multiple sectors. Prior to Ameba, Arthur served as a managing director at Fosun Groupand also acted as its UK chief representative. He was also vice president at Yingli Green Energy, and began his career as a corporate lawyer at Fried Frank LLP, a Wall Street law firm.Arthur holds B.A./LL.B.degrees from Peking University, an LL.M. degree from Harvard Law School, as well as an M.B.A. degree from IMD.
Jack Li, Partner - Fangda Partners Beijing Office
Jack is a corporate partner of Fangda based in Beijing. He specializes in cross-border mergers and acquisitions, inbound and outbound private equity and venture capital investment, joint venture, foreign direct investment and general corporate matters. His representative experience includes Didi’s US$7 billion acquisition of Uber’s China business, Kunlun’s US$575 millionacquisition of Opera, Musical.ly’s US$1 billion merger into Bytedance,and Taikang’s £1billion investment in the HPC nuclear power project in UK, etc. Prior to joining Fangda, Jack worked in the Beijing office of a leading Chinese law firm and two international law firms. Jack holds a B.A.degree from China National University of Defense Technology and a J.D. degree from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law.
Dennis Li, Editor - Chambers and Partners
Dennis joined Chambers as a researcher on the Asia-Pacific team, before being promoted to Asia-Pacific Deputy Editor and later taking the role of Editor to head the Greater China Region. Having worked in China and the UK, he has considerable researching, editing and project management experience in media and publishing. He graduated with an MA in Publishing from UCL before completing the Graduate Diploma in Law at BPP. Dennis speaks fluent Mandarin and German.
