Daniel Spechar, Ex - CAF Principal Investment Officer/Tech specialist /Angel Investor

Daniel served as the Principal Investment Officer at the Private Equity and Venture Capita Division at CAF Development Bank of Latin America. In this position at the multilateral institution, Daniel was in charge of originating, analyzing and investing in select direct equity investments and venture capital funds across the region, as well as administering part of the institution ́s existing alternative investments portfolio. As part of his responsibilities, he served in various investment and advisory fund committees, as well as board member in order to oversee the genera partnership performance an compliance with industry best practices. Some of his other complementary functions include providing technical cooperation grants in order to promote the expanding regional entrepreneurial ecosystem, playing an integral part in promoting and developing the institution’s strategy regarding the FinTech and AgroFoodTech verticals. Born and raised in Santa Cruz-Bolivia, Daniel Spechar is a graduate from Indiana University in Bloomington-U.S.A. with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in 2005. After a stint in the commercial aviation industry, he obtaine a Masters in Marketing Management from IE Business School in Madrid-Spain in 2009 and joined CAF later that year as part of the institution’s Young Professionals Program, a highly selective two-year intensive rotational program designed for future leaders inside the organization.

Branislav Trajkovski, CEO of Payink.com

Branislav Trajkovskiis CEO ofPayink.com, a fintech and legaltech company that helps lawfirms and other professional services firms get paid faster and achieve productivity gains within their practice. He was investor, Board Director and Global Head of Corporate Development of Dlocal, where he helped scale the company from a small Latam start up, to a NASDAQ-listed company with $20bn market cap. Branislav is a Chairman of the investment committee of Expand Venture, a fund which invests in and scales fintech and legaltech businesses. He was a host of podcast on legaltech, and serves as Advisory Board Member to Iconekta.

Gail Armstrong, COO of Payink.com

Gail Armstrong is COO of Payink.com, where she has been designing and implementing legaltech and fintech solutions for lawfirms and other professional services firms in Latam, the US and Europe. Gail is a former Accenture Managing Director and People and Diversity Lead for their UK & Ireland Banking practice. As a Forward Ladies 2021 finalist, Gail is a strong proponent of inclusion and diversity and female entrepreneurship, and has implemented ‘family-first’ culture.

Jaret Davis, Co-Managing Shareholder and Blockchain & Digital Assets expert at Greenberg Traurig LLP

Jaret L. Davis is the Co-Managing Shareholder of the Miami office of Greenberg Traurig, P.A. and a member of the firm’s global Executive Committee. He oversees approximately 170 attorneys and 200 business staff based in the firm’s founding office in Miami, Florida USA and focuses his corporate and securities practice on domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, capital markets transactions, and complex secured financings.
