Sarah Tsou, Investment Manager, Legal Counsel - Omni Bridgeway
Prior to joining the company’s New York office in 2019, Sarah was a partner in the intellectual property practice group at Kirkland & Ellis LLP, focusing on patent litigation. In addition to handling patent disputes spanning a broad range of technologies and industries, she also led trade secret and trademark litigation teams and counseled clients in corporate acquisitions, licensing matters, and other transactions. Sarah approaches litigation funding deal evaluation and diligence with the expertise of a litigator who has spent over a dozen years representing clients in all aspects of complex litigation from inception to trial. She has advised clients ranging from start-ups to Fortune 100 companies on risk, cost analysis, IP portfolio and market analysis, and strategy, and she understands the factors that companies and law firms weigh when deciding whether to engage in litigation. Her substantial case evaluation and trial experience informs her ability to structure funding deals that allow alignment of risk between all parties to the deal.
Stephanie Southwick, Investment Manager, Legal Counsel - Omni Bridgeway
Prior to joining the company's San Francisco office in 2019, Stephanie was the Managing Partner of Greenfield Southwick LLP, a boutique business and intellectual property firm with 15 years litigation experience including as first chair/lead counsel. She is experienced in representing start-ups, tech companies, VCs, manufacturers, real estate developers, family offices, directors and officers and professional partnerships in business torts, contract disputes, trade secret cases, founder disputes, and employment matters. Stephanie assesses investments with the eyes of an experienced litigator who has won many verdicts and dispositive motions and achieved favorable settlement outcomes for her clients. She applies the knowledge she gained in the courtroom and at the negotiating table to guide Omni Bridgeway's funded clients and their counsel on the tactics most likely to achieve their desired outcomes, serving as a strategic resource when her advice is sought.
Steve Moore, Partner - Kilpatrick Townsend
Steve Moore is a trial lawyer who focuses on patent infringement and complex commercial litigation matters. In his patent litigation practice, Mr. Moore both represents patent owners harmed by infringement in pursuing patent and related claims and defends companies accused of patent infringement in a wide variety of industries. Mr. Moore has extensive jury trial and other courtroom experience in patent and commercial litigation cases, including successful jury trials in the Northern District of California, District of Delaware, and the Eastern and Western Districts of Texas. Most recently, in the Eastern District of Texas, Mr. Moore led a trial team representing a gaming company in bringing a series of patent infringement suits against a competitor, resulting in over $100 million in jury verdicts in two jury trials in 2020 and 2021.
Christopher Citro, Legal Counsel - Omni Bridgeway
Christopher Citro is Legal Counsel in Omni Bridgeway’s New York office, where he conducts due diligence on potential investments, particularly in patent and other intellectual property matters. Before joining Omni Bridgeway in 2021, Chris practiced law at Kirkland & Ellis LLP, where he litigated patent and trade secrets disputes involving biotechnology, biosimilar, medical device, and technology patent and contractual issues. His practice also included advising clients on product and settlement strategy, FDA regulatory submissions, and transactions involving pharmaceuticals.
Edward Durkin, Chief Financial Officer - Fuze
Edward brings more than 35 years of financial and executive experience. Prior to joining Fuze, Edward was CFO at Actifio Inc., a leading provider of multi-cloud enterprise data management software solutions, until its acquisition by Google (NASDAQ: GOOGL) in December 2020. Prior to Actifio, Edward was also CFO at Digital Guardian, Inc. and Chief Financial Officer of Interactions, Inc. both rapidly growing technology companies with international operations. Edward has also served as Chief Executive Officer and President of Tactical Communications Group, LLC which was acquired by Curtiss Wright Corp (NYSE: CW). Edward further served as CFO of Open Market Inc., a publicly traded software company (NASDAQ: OMKT), and CFO at Radview Software, where he was instrumental in successfully taking Radview (NASDAQ: RDVW) through its IPO.
Simon Christian, Global Research Director - Chambers and Partners
