Johannes Kelner, Deputy Director Dominican - Customs Authority (DGA)

Johannes has 13 years of experience in the area of customs and logistics. He became part of Customs Authority to provide knowledge from his previous experience in the private sector.  He had the opportunity to do a Master's Degree in Finance in Chile, at the Adolfo Ibáñez, and then became part of the national logistics development doing global negotiations with technologies that support efficiency and our good connectivity.  His current focus is to work in favor of our Presidential mandate, Luis Abinader, in "Turning the Dominican Republic into an international hub.

Alexander Schad, Executive President - Frederic Schad

Alexander Schad is the Executive President for Frederic Schad, Inc since 2013 and has worked his way up through the company for the past 18 years. His goal has always been to develop highly successful teams and to deliver extortionary results, which he has very much accomplished throughout his time at Frederic Schad, Inc. Alexander is fluent in English and Spanish with average fluency in French.

Caroline Bono, Partner - Pellerano Nadal

Caroline currently serves as head of Pellerano Nadal’s Tax Practice. She has over 15 years advising national and multinational companies belonging to a diverse range of industries: free zone, renewable energy, electric, industrial, financial, automotive, tourism, mining, telecommunication, and non-profit organizations in corporate restructurings, mergers, development of tax strategies, tax consulting and defending regulated legal people before the Dominican tax authorities. Caroline is an active member of the National Council of Tax Consultants (CONACI), the Bar Association of the Dominican Republic, and the Board of Remax Dominicana. For over 12 years, Caroline worked at PwC Dominican Republic, international “Big 4” of audit and business consultancy in the tax and legal sectors. Prestigious international legal directories, such as Chambers and ITR World Tax have recognized Caroline’s experience in the tax sector. Caroline graduated from the Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra (PUCMM) and has a master’s degree in business law (MADE) from the Universitat Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona, Spain. In 2018, she participated in the Executive Program "Tax Policy and Administration" from Harvard Kennedy School of Business in Cambridge, MA, USA. In 2019, she obtained a master´s degree in International Taxation from De la Rioja University, Spain. In 2021, Caroline participated in the Digital Business Strategy: Harnessing our Digital Future program at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).”

Theo Resnikoff, Deputy Editor - Chambers and Partners

Theo works as a Deputy Editor in the Latin America team. His previous professional experience includes working as an investigative journalist at Forensic Architecture, focusing on the disappearance of 43 students from Ayotzinapa, Mexico. He graduated from the University of Liverpool with a BA in Film Studies and Spanish Literature, before completing an MA in Investigative Journalism at City, University of London. Having grown up in Mexico City, Theo speaks both English and Spanish fluently.
