Carlos Vilhena is a partner at the law firm of Pinheiro Neto Advogados, in Brasilia, Brazil, where he heads the firm's mining and government relations practices. Christopher Marchesi, Special Counsel, Gilbert Tobin (Australia)

Christopher advises Australian and international project owners and investors on complex energy and resources projects and transactions in the energy, infrastructure, mining and oil & gas industry sectors. Christopher specialises in project development, clean energy and decarbonisation projects, offtake and energy supply (including LNG, gas and hydrogen), land access, acquisitions and divestments, joint ventures, environment, approvals and regulatory matters. David Redford, Partner, Cassel Brock & Blackwell LLP (Canada)

David Redford is a partner in the Securities Group at Cassels. Lynda Amadagana, Managing Partner, Amadagana & Partners (Cameroon)

Lynda Amadagana is a lawyer registered with the Paris and Cameroon Bars. She obtained her Master 2 in International and European Law with a specialization in International Environmental Law from the University of Paris Nanterre La Défense in 2010. Lynda has worked for several international law firms on projects and concessions in the energy sector as well as on project financing. She founded the business law firm Amadagana & Partners in 2019. The law firm is based in Yaoundé, Cameroon and has an office in Paris, France and Kinshasa, DRC, The main objective is to combine knowledge of local markets with the mastery of international standards in order to provide quality service and sector expertise to the firm's clients. At her firm, Lynda advises clients in the energy sector, which includes power, gas and oil production projects. She also advises in the mining sector, including the negotiation of mining agreements and transactions relating to mining titles. Her practice covers all legal aspects of mining projects in their prospecting, development, exploration and exploitation phases. Marshall McKenna, Partner, Gilbert Tobin (Australia)

Marshall’s practice focusses on commercial litigation with a recognised speciality in native title and mining law. He has achieved positive outcomes for his clients in relation to many native title matters. He also has a breadth of experience advising on land access and planning and environmental approvals, Freedom of Information issues and is also active in negotiating and documenting compensation, heritage and land access agreements. Marshall has extensive experience including appearing as lead negotiator and as counsel in several native title matters. He was the counsel for the successful party in the first determination that an act not be done under the Native Title Act 'right to negotiate' process. Guilherme J. S. Leal is a founding partner of Graça Couto Advogados, with 20 years’ experience in environmental law. She advised the South African government on the drafting of the South African Climate Change Bill, 2018, has advised on the climate change laws of Zimbabwe and Thailand and was extensively involved in South Africa’s adaptation legal and policy alignment process. Seth Kerschner, Partner, White & Case LLP (USA)

Seth practices environmental law, and assists clients with transactions, litigation, climate change, regulatory compliance, site remediation, sustainability, biodiversity and energy transition matters. Seth's practice involves work with public and private companies, governments and non-profit organizations.
