About the virtual forum
In 1932, in their book ‘The Modern Corporation and Private Property”, Adolf Berle Jr. and Gardiner Means invoked the idea of shareholder passivity contesting traditional views (at the time) of corporate governance and the separation of ownership and control in large corporations. More than 90 years since, how have their views held up against the test of time? This webinar seeks to re-examine these conceptions through the prisms of large (family-owned) conglomerates and joint ventures as we explore the applicability of the management / ownership divide in the context of this 21st century.
Join us on 28 August at 9AM-10AM BST/4PM-5PM SST on Zoom.
