Luís Bulcão Pinheiro - Head of Brazil Research, Chambers and Partners
Luís is a journalist with six years experience covering the Brazilian legal market for UK organisations, including Chambers and Partners. He also wrote for several top Brazilian media organisations and, before settling in the UK, he covered news from Rio de Janeiro for outlets like G1 and Veja.com. Luís holds an MA in International Relations from the University of East Anglia, an MBA from FGV-RJ and a bachelor degree in Social Communication-Journalism from UFRGS. Luís is a member of the Chevening Alumni community.
Douglas Ferreira - Assistant Editor, Chambers and Partners
Before joining Chambers, Douglas was drafting and reviewing contracts on a number of legal matters for a well-known London charity and, in the field of research, he has also acquired extensive knowledge, having previously worked in various roles ranging from Interviewer to Research Field/Project Manager. Douglas has acquired vast experience as a legal translator having obtained a BA in Translation from a London university. He is currently doing an LLM at Birkbeck University and aims to combine his linguistic and writing experience with his passion for the law to further his research efforts. Aside from English, he speaks Portuguese and Spanish.
Ana Brandt - Research Analyst, Chambers and Partners
Ana is a Brazilian lawyer who moved to London 3 years ago, after working for a few years in law firms in Brazil. In London, prior to joining Chambers, she was part of the organisation committee of Brazil Forum UK and completed a master’s in Human Rights Law at UCL. She volunteers for the NGO Liter of Light and is passionate about social impact. At Chambers, she has recently become a Social Mobility Ambassador on the INSPIRE Committee.
