Ben Nickson, Editor - Chambers and Partners
Ben started as a researcher on the UK and US team, becoming an Assistant Editor before taking on the role of Editor of the Professional Advisers series. Before Chambers, he worked in the Civil Service in the Department for Work and Pensions. Ben graduated in English Literature from the University of Cambridge, and also holds a Graduate Diploma in Law from BPP University
Catriona Blamire, Head of Client Development, UK - Peerpoint
Catriona heads up Peerpoint’s client development team in the UK and is part of their global leadership team. She is involved in setting Peerpoint’s strategic growth agenda, including new sectors, product development and geographic expansion, as well as managing first-rate client service delivery across the market leading financial institutions and high growth client organisations Peerpoint works with. She previously led the award winning strategy consulting company FreshMinds Interim. Having been involved in launching the business from start-up, Catriona was responsible for client strategy, marketing and business development and was awarded ‘Business Manager of the year’ by the REC industry body in recognition of their successful growth. She has also worked in commercial roles in the FMCG sector for L’Oreal, and the legal sector for FreshFields.
Rachel Carter, Senior Client Development Manager, Asia Pacific - Peerpoint
Rachel leads Peerpoint’s client development team in Australia. By having a clear understanding of Peerpoint’s clients, their business, culture, industry and working environment she works with the broader Peerpoint resourcing and talent development teams to provide them with the best matched consultant and commercial structure for their needs. Rachel has a background in legal business development and client development, having held such mandates for Allen & Overy in London and King & Wood Mallesons in Sydney. Before joining Peerpoint, she was PwC Australia’s Legal Pursuit Leader, where she focused on generating and converting strategic, high value opportunities in line with the firm’s legal growth strategy.
